You’ve likely heard about potential cuts to federal funding. I’m writing with a quick update and an opportunity to contact your elected officials to express the importance of these funds to Habitat for Humanity’s work.
On Tuesday, the Executive Branch issued a memo freezing federal funds, which was temporarily delayed then later rescinded. Potential changes to federal funding remain a concern for us at Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity.
Twin Cities Habitat is actively working with funding partners to evaluate the scale of the potential impacts on our organization.
Many of our supporters have reached out to ask how to take action. You can use the form on this page to email your federal representatives and share the importance of federal funding for affordable homeownership.
Thank you for using your voice in support of affordable housing!
Sorry, we are not targeting any legislators in your district at this time.
Please stay tuned for future action alerts and advocacy opportunities with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity!
